Privacy Policy

The short version

TankMinded does not collect your name, email address, or any personal information directly. We do not run user accounts, a mailing list, or a comments section. The only data about you that exists is what your browser sends when you visit any website: your IP address, the page you requested, your approximate location, and your device type. We use that data only to understand what guides people find useful, and we do not sell it.

What we collect

Analytics (Vercel Analytics)

We use Vercel Web Analytics, a privacy-friendly analytics service built into our hosting provider. It records aggregated data about page views, referrers, country-level location, and device type. Server logs

Like every website, our hosting provider keeps short-term access logs. These include your IP address, the URL you requested, and a timestamp. Logs are used for security and debugging and are rotated automatically.

Affiliate links

TankMinded is a participant in the Amazon Services LLC Associates Program. When you click one of our "Check Price" buttons or another affiliate link, Amazon sets its own cookies and tracks the click so it can attribute any purchase you make to TankMinded. Amazon shares a small commission with us. That cookie is set by Amazon, not by us, and is governed by Amazon's privacy notice. You pay no more than you would have otherwise.

We never see your Amazon purchase history or personal account details. All we see is an aggregated monthly report showing how many clicks and sales our links generated.

What we do not do

• We do not run a newsletter or collect email addresses.

• We do not sell, rent, or share data with data brokers.
• We do not fingerprint your browser.
• We do not run third-party ad networks.

Cookies

TankMinded itself sets no cookies. Third-party services you reach through our links (primarily Amazon) may set their own cookies, as described above.

Your rights

Because we do not collect personal information, there is nothing stored about you personally that we could hand over, export, or delete. If you believe a third party (for example Amazon or Vercel) holds data about you that originated with your visit here, contact them directly using the links above and exercise your rights under the relevant law (GDPR, CCPA, or your local equivalent).

Children

TankMinded is a general-audience site. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone, including children under 13. If you are a parent and have a concern, email us at the address below.

Changes to this policy

If we change how the site handles data, we will update this page and bump the "Last updated" date at the top. Major changes, like adding a newsletter or user accounts, will get a clear callout on the homepage.
